I realize how static this looks, but I made a huge mistake with this piece. Unlike digital, where you can go in and fix things, acrylic is a bit more permanent. Long story short, I started this environment by painting the foreground first instead of painting the background first and moving forward. I had this lush environment all laid out before I decided to scrap it. It just would required more time than I had,so I inserted an ocean. I still don't know how I feel about it.
